Keep water moving. Keep clogs out.
RainDrop Pro keeps leaves, pine needles and clog-forming debris out while letting roof water and smaller material move through the gutter system.
But the guard only works if the gutter underneath works. RID-ICK checks pitch, valleys, outlets, downspouts and discharge before we recommend guard-only, corrections or replacement.
See the product before you buy the pitch.
RainDrop’s own video shows the guard profile, the open ribbed surface and how the product is intended to disappear into the roof edge instead of becoming a bulky exterior feature.
Most gutter-guard problems start with solving only the leaf problem.
A leaf-free gutter can still overflow if the trough is sagging, the outlet is restricted, the valley overwhelms the entry point or the downspout dumps water beside the foundation. Protection only works when the entire water path works.
Covering a weak gutter
A guard cannot fix poor pitch, loose attachment, damaged fascia, leaking seams or a gutter that is already undersized for the roof area.
Filtering more than the gutter needs
RainDrop is intentionally not a fine filter. Its design keeps clog-forming debris out while allowing smaller non-clogging material to wash through instead of building a filter cake on top.
Ignoring the outlet bottleneck
The guard can accept water and the system can still back up if the outlet, downspout or underground discharge cannot move that water away fast enough.
Price the guard system remotely first, then verify the gutter condition only when needed.
Linear footage, height and roof-edge photos can get the guard quote started remotely. If your existing gutters appear sound, we can move toward a written scope without making an onsite visit the automatic first step. If the photos show a possible pitch, attachment or discharge issue, we verify that condition before installation.

RainDrop uses a ribbed, pitched polypropylene surface with open flow paths instead of trying to screen every tiny particle out of roof water. The Flex-Flange lets the guard adapt to common roof and gutter configurations while the low-profile black design stays visually quiet at the roofline.
Inspect the water path
Check the gutter, fascia, pitch, valleys, outlets, downspouts and where the water finally discharges.
Prep + reseal the gutter
Clean, resecure and correct the gutter as needed, then reseal existing seams and joints with NP1 polyurethane sealant before the guard system goes on.
Fit the RainDrop system
Install the guard and any approved accessories that solve the actual flow or debris condition at the property.
Document + register
Finish the installation, document the approved scope and complete the applicable RainDrop warranty registration.
RainDrop is not trying to be the finest filter on your roof.
The design choice is deliberate: stop the debris that creates clogs, keep the surface pitched so debris can move, and let smaller non-clogging material wash through the water path instead of turning the top of the gutter into a filter bed.
The ribbed surface breaks up water and provides openings across the guard instead of forcing all flow to wrap around a solid hood.
RainDrop is designed to follow the roof-edge pitch so leaves and larger debris are encouraged to keep moving instead of settling on a flat screen.
RainDrop’s published philosophy is that fine non-clogging material can move through the gutter and downspout while the clog-forming debris stays out.
The best guard can still lose to a bad outlet.
RainDrop has an accessory line because the gutter system has more failure points than the top opening. RID-ICK can use the pieces that solve the property—not force every accessory onto every job.
See how the Flex-Flange adapts before anyone touches your roof edge.
RainDrop publishes a step-by-step installation guide instead of hiding the attachment method. That matters because the roof edge, gutter condition and fastening approach are part of the decision—not an afterthought.
Watch RainDrop’s real-rainstorm demonstration ↗We are registered—and when we install the gutters + RainDrop together, we can offer the extended warranty path.
RainDrop publishes a registered 20-year limited transferable product warranty. Because RID-ICK is a RainDrop Registered Installer, qualifying projects where we install both the new gutters and RainDrop Pro can be registered for the additional five-year extension and upgraded hail coverage, subject to RainDrop’s current written terms.

If your existing gutters are sound, RID-ICK can install RainDrop Pro as a guard-only project under the applicable standard manufacturer warranty path. If RID-ICK installs the new gutters and RainDrop Pro together, that qualifying project can be registered for the additional five-year extension and upgraded hail coverage. RainDrop’s current written certificate, registration and terms control the exact coverage.
The guard only earns its keep if the gutter underneath can move water.
RID-ICK is a RainDrop Registered Installer. We verify the existing gutter system first, correct normal installation-level issues, install the guard, document the work and register qualifying warranty coverage instead of treating the guard like a snap-on accessory.
Pitch, attachment, outlets, downspouts and visible water-path problems are reviewed before the guard is installed.
Downspout and water-flow conditions are checked so RainDrop is not installed over an obvious bottleneck.
Normal minor re-securing or re-pitching needed to complete the guard installation is included. Major gutter repair or replacement is a separate verified scope.
Standard valley/high-flow adjustments are included when appropriate. Specialty accessories or unusual corrective work are approved separately if the property needs them.
RainDrop is installed by RID-ICK under the Registered Installer program and qualifying projects are registered for the applicable written warranty.
Qualifying guard-only installations use the registered RainDrop 20-year limited transferable warranty path, subject to the current written terms and timely registration.
When RID-ICK installs new gutters and RainDrop together, RID-ICK offers the qualifying Registered Installer extended-warranty path and extends its workmanship coverage to 25 years.
Before, installation-condition and completion photos can stay in the customer portal. Final cleanup is part of the approved guard scope.
RainDrop Pro makes sense when you want less routine gutter maintenance without sacrificing the gutter’s ability to accept real roof water.
✓ Sound existing 5-inch or 6-inch gutters that are worth protecting
✓ New 6-inch seamless gutter projects where protection can be designed in from day one
✓ Homes with recurring leaves, pine needles, seed pods or other clog-forming debris
✓ Roof valleys and high-flow areas where both water entry and debris shedding matter
— Installing protection over gutters that need repair, repitching or replacement first
— Promising that every roof edge will require zero attention forever under every tree and storm condition
— Using sealant, splash guards or a cover to disguise an outlet or discharge problem
The product matters. The roof-edge detail decides whether it looks and works right.
Manufacturer specifications tell you what RainDrop is built to do. The field installation determines how cleanly it fits the shingles, gutter edge, corners and water path. The close-up below shows the product where that work actually happens.

RID-ICK is a Registered RainDrop Installer
This is not a referral to an outside RainDrop installer. RID-ICK is in RainDrop’s Registered Installer Network and installs the system directly, with access to the manufacturer’s registered-installer training, registration and warranty resources.
Published product platform
RainDrop lists UV-stabilized polypropylene construction, compatibility with 5-inch and 6-inch gutters and a Flex-Flange that can adapt to additional gutter and roof-edge configurations.
New gutters + RainDrop can unlock the extension
When RID-ICK installs the new gutter system and RainDrop Pro together, we can offer the qualifying Registered Installer extended-warranty path: an additional five years plus upgraded hail coverage, subject to registration and the current written manufacturer terms.
Questions should get answered before pressure enters the conversation.
These are the questions that usually matter before a property owner decides what to do next.
How is RainDrop different from micro-mesh?
RainDrop takes a different approach. Instead of trying to filter every fine particle out of roof water, its open ribbed surface is designed to block clog-forming debris while allowing small non-clogging material, including roof grit, to wash through the gutter and downspout. That is the manufacturer’s core design philosophy and one reason outlet flow matters so much.
Does RainDrop fit my gutters?
RainDrop publishes compatibility with both 5-inch and 6-inch gutters and says its Flex-Flange can be adapted to additional sizes and roof-edge conditions. RID-ICK still measures and inspects the actual gutter before confirming fit.
What is RainDrop made from?
RainDrop lists the guard as a UV-stabilized polypropylene blend. The material is designed for exterior exposure, flexibility and impact resistance instead of relying on a thin flat screen or bulky solid hood.
Can RainDrop handle roof valleys and heavy rain?
RainDrop specifically markets the guard for high-volume water and valley conditions. RID-ICK still checks the actual valley geometry, gutter size, outlet layout and discharge path because the guard is only one part of the system.
Does it have to slide under my shingles?
No. RainDrop publishes more than one installation approach, including an under-shingle configuration and a drop-in style. Their instructions specifically warn not to nail the back flange through the roof. RID-ICK chooses the method that fits the roof edge and the project requirements.
What warranty comes with RainDrop Pro?
RainDrop publishes a registered 20-year limited transferable product warranty. RID-ICK is a RainDrop Registered Installer. When RID-ICK installs both the new gutters and RainDrop Pro as one qualifying system, we can offer the Registered Installer extended-warranty path with an additional five years plus upgraded hail coverage. Guard-only projects on existing gutters can still use the standard RainDrop warranty path. Registration is required, and the current written manufacturer certificate and project documents control the exact coverage.
What is the Wide Mouth Outlet?
It is a RainDrop system accessory with a larger opening designed to remove common snag points around a traditional drop outlet. RainDrop publishes the opening as up to four times larger than a traditional outlet. We use it only where the gutter and downspout layout benefit from it.
Will I never have to clean anything again?
We do not sell an absolute no-maintenance promise. RainDrop is designed to shed clog-forming debris and reduce routine gutter cleaning, but unusual tree conditions, roof valleys, storms and downstream drainage can still justify periodic inspection.
Do you reseal the gutters before installing guards?
Yes. On existing-gutter guard installations, RID-ICK reseals gutter seams and joints as needed with NP1 polyurethane sealant before installing RainDrop Pro. If we find a larger repair, pitch, fascia, outlet or drainage issue, we identify it separately rather than hiding it under the guard.
What if my gutters already overflow?
That is exactly what the assessment is for. Overflow can come from debris, pitch, capacity, valleys, outlets, downspouts or discharge. We identify the bottleneck before recommending a guard.
Find the bottleneck.
Then protect the system.
Show us the gutter, the roofline and where the water goes. We will tell you whether RainDrop fits what you have, what should be corrected first, and whether replacing the gutter makes more sense.
